Rankings you can check
Search for a locksmith, an aircon company or a plumber in Singapore and you get lists. What you almost never get is an explanation of how the list was ordered. Some are ordered by ad spend. Some are ordered by whoever paid a listicle site. Most simply do not say.
That matters because these are purchases people make in a hurry, often under pressure, about work they cannot easily evaluate. A ranked list is doing a lot of work in that moment, and the reader deserves to know what it is built from.
So we publish directories where the method is written down in plain language, where rank cannot be bought, and where the whole listing set is re-checked every month rather than compiled once and left. If a ranking looks wrong to you, you can read how we rank businesses and say so.
We are new, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. SG Heartland Guides was founded in 2026. The first directory is in build, two more are planned, and every directory page states its own status. There are no customers, no reviews of us, and no milestones to report yet, so you will not find any invented ones on this site.

What we do
- Publish one directory per trade, covering Singapore island-wide
- Compile listings from public sources, free of charge to the business
- Score businesses from public customer reviews only
- Publish the scoring method in full so a reader can audit it
- Re-check the whole listing set every month
- Handle corrections and removals free, with a five-business-day target
What we do not do
- Sell rank, position, or any influence over a score
- Take an ownership stake in, or work commercially with, a listed business
- Publish testimonials, ratings or traffic figures about ourselves
- Run location pages or a blog to occupy search results
- Contact listed businesses by phone to sell anything
- Describe a directory as live before it is

A directory that is not live is described as not live, here and on its own page. That is a small thing, and it is also the whole argument of this publisher applied to itself.
