We do not sell placement, promotion, badges, or any influence over a ranking. There are no packages, no tiers, no rates, and no audience figures to quote, because the first directory is still in build and we are not going to invent numbers.
If you have come here to ask what a position costs, the answer is that it is not for sale at any price. That is the rule the whole publisher rests on, and it is set out in our editorial standards, which is worth reading before anything else on this page.
We expect to open some form of paid surface eventually. When we do, it will follow the four rules opposite, and this page will change to describe exactly what is on offer.
Labelled as paid
In plain words, not a euphemism and not a faintly shaded background. A reader must be able to tell at a glance that a placement was bought.
Outside the ranked list
Above it or beside it, never inside it. Every position within a ranked list stays earned, so a reader scanning the list can trust all of it.
No effect on any score
Ranking is featured-blind. The engine that builds a score is never given payment status, so a paying business occupies exactly the position it would have occupied for free.
Earned labels stay unbuyable
An editor’s pick or any other editorial label cannot be purchased at any price. If we could not honour that, we would stop publishing the label rather than reprice it.
