1. What this site is

SG Heartland Guides is an independent publisher of Singapore service directories. This site describes the directories we publish and the method behind them. The directories themselves are published on their own domains:

• Singapore Locksmith Guide (sglocksmithguide.com)
• Singapore Aircon Guide (sgairconguide.com)
• Singapore Plumber Guide (sgplumberguide.com)

We are a publisher, not a tradesperson, agency or broker. We do not carry out locksmith, aircon, plumbing or any other trade work, we do not arrange it, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a listed business.

2. Listings are compiled from public sources

Listings are compiled from information that is already published publicly, then put through validity checks. We make a reasonable effort to keep the set accurate and re-check it monthly, but the information is provided without warranty of any kind. It may be incomplete, out of date between re-checks, or wrong.

Always verify anything that matters to you, including licensing, insurance, availability and price, directly with the business before engaging it.

3. Rankings are editorial opinion

Rankings and scores are editorial opinion, formed from public customer reviews using the method published at how we rank businesses.

A score is evidence, not a guarantee, endorsement, certification or recommendation of any particular business, and it says nothing about how your specific job will go. The limits of the method are set out at what our scores do and do not measure.

4. Nothing is sold here

Listing is free and no business pays to appear or to stay. No paid placement is offered today. If a paid surface is introduced it will be labelled as paid, will sit outside the ranked list, and will not affect any score, as stated in our editorial standards.

5. Your use of the site

You may read, link to, and quote this site with attribution. You may not:

• scrape or bulk-copy listing data for a competing directory or a commercial database;
• use the site in a way that interferes with its operation or availability;
• misrepresent a score, ranking or label, including by implying an endorsement that was not given.

6. Business owners

If your business is listed, nothing is required of you and there is nothing to pay. To correct, dispute or remove a listing, see corrections, disputes and removals. Removal requests are honoured free of charge, with a five-business-day target for standard requests and faster handling for legal ones. Background for owners is at if your business is listed.

7. Links to other sites

This site links out to the directories we publish and, from those directories, to listed businesses. Those links are ordinary editorial links. We are not responsible for the content, conduct, or availability of any third-party site or business.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SG Heartland Guides is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from any dealing with a listed business, including work performed, quotations given, or agreements made. Your engagement with any business is entirely between you and that business.

9. Intellectual property

The text, layout, ranking method and design of this site are ours. Business names and marks appearing in listings belong to their owners and appear as factual references.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
